Bring It On, Rincon

It's always nice to arrive to the airport with someone to greet you. That's something that's rare in New York. Greetings and pickup are replaced with yellow taxis and air trains. Liberia, Costa Rica was different. Door to door service with an informative guide and scenic stops.

We arrived in the newly renovated airport and were greeted by our friendly driver.


With Carolina and Raquel as our translators, our driver took over as a tour guide during the drive thru the Pacific Northwest. He even pulled over so we could take a photo of the massive volcano behind us.
















We checked in and enjoyed some cervezas in the main dining area of Rinconcito Lodge.


Afterwards, we decided to take advantage of the property's lush surroundings and go on a short hike before dinner.
