We retreated to our room, an upgraded version of our bunks from the days of sleepaway camp.

And realized that there was bit of an overlap in the little overnight bag we each packed. Twinning in Montauk.

We played rock, paper, scissor and one of us left the room in stripes. Jill and I headed over to "the pool" because it was reggae night at Ruschmeyer's starting at 5pm. Unfortunately, it began to rain midway through our Jamaican escapade so we took our drinks inside to the hotel bar with the other guests. It didn't hurt the trunk show for jewelry designers Holst + Lee. This adorable kid was quite the salesman showing just how easy it is to layer their necklaces.

We didn't have to leave the hotel. On a Sunday night, there was a good crowd and the restaurant features food from the culinary folks behind The Fat Radish. We decided to head into town for dinner at South Edison and some fresh Montauk Pearls. I think we liked the food almost as much as the waitstaff, friendly, informative and looked just like the surfer we saw on the beach earlier that day.

Stay bitten ;)
