WFP

With July 4th falling on a Wednesday this year, it broke up the middle of our work week. A day off is always welcomed but on Thursday we were were to "work from home." With my internet and cable not set up, I had to come up with an alternate option. Plus, it was 90something degrees out and being cooped up in your apartment on a hot day, isn't the most ideal scenario.

So we got creative. I could work from a coffee shop or we could take the subway one stop and enjoy the day poolside, with complimentary wifi and refills of summer refreshments. And that's just what we did. Ashley made a reservation and we showed up with sunscreen and a laptop.

Instead of taking the standard office break for coffee or to play ping pong, we chose to cool off from our computers.
