No Fomo

Fear of missing out? Yes, I'm guilty of that more often that not. I realize you can't be in two places at once without a cape, the power of a superhero or a body double. But with some planning sometimes it's possible to fit it all in. And that's just what I did. Headed back to my alma mater for a very special bachelorette party and then made my way to another party across the Atlantic.

From New York to Pennsylvania, back to New York, to Madrid and then Dubrovnik all within one weekend. Just a bus ride, a car ride, 2 flights and I was there.

The airport in Madrid, in awe.

I was greeted by Jeff at the airport in Dubrovnik. He shuffled me to the car and told me to get comfortable as Andy drove our way to Kat's
family's home. An hour ride he warned me.

Less than 10 minutes later, we were at the house in the village of Mocici. Silly Jeff. I threw my suitcase down, grabbed my bikini and went right back to the car. We were very lucky to have Kat and Amalia as our local tour guides as they took us to a beach that you wouldn't find otherwise. In the nearby village of Popovici, a few left turns, a few right turns, a bit of maze of unmarked dirt roads and we reached a parking lot of a handful of European small cars, proving this beach to be off the beaten path, only accessible by locals. To get to the "Secret Beach" it was a bit of a hike but after all the traveling in the past 48 hours, this trek had one sweet reward at the end of the path.

There's no FOMO this time. As the Beatles put it,
"there's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be."

In this case, I was just where I needed and wanted to be.
Stay bitten ;)

Looks amazing! Can't wait to see the rest of your pics.

I try to "always go" when invited on an adventure. The regret that (always) happens when I try to be responsible always outweighs the few months of me eating scrambled eggs for dinner :)
