Wanderlust Wednesday: Marrakesh

Eat, pray, move. Because love you can't plan for. But a yoga retreat? That is all within your control. Julie, a friend from high school and a fan of the blog (thank you again for your sweet note), sent this trip my way.

After some standard googling, Julie, I'm wanderlusting a spot on this yoga retreat which seems more like a treat with some yoga on the side. The setting, a beautiful boutique hotel, run by an eco-friendly architect and his award-winning (sigh) blogging wife. Peacock Pavilions, an oasis in Marrakesh, decorated with local accents that make you want to take a trip to the markets of Morocco.

Start the day in a yoga class on the olive grove on the hotel grounds. Aside from daily meditation and yoga, there's camel rides, spa treatments, henna cocktail parties, day trips to the souqs, hiking in the Atlas Mountains, all within a week.
