Because the idea of climbing Kili has been lingering around my head and something tells me, it's not going anywhere until I empty my pockets and take it on.
Because I want to challenge myself while I'm still young and foolish to set goals like this.
Because the thought of it excites me more than it scares me.
Because I'd love an excuse to wear those pants that zip off into shorts, again.
Because the highest mountain in Africa is something I'd like to one day tell my kids, yeah, your mom did this and hopefully, one day you will too.
Because life is short, the trail is long but the journey will be something we'll never forget.
So maybe, just maybe, this will be the year that we'll take this on. But for today, I'm wanderlusting Tanzania from my desk and the view of the construction site to my right, just doesn't compare to what's inside my head.
